How-to guide

How to host a website for free.

From an empty account to a live, secured site — no prior hosting experience needed.

01

Create your free account

Sign up with an email and password on the Free plan — no card, no verification call.

02

Pick your domain

Choose a free subdomain on .co4.in, .c0m.in or .cooo.in, or point a domain you already own.

03

Open cPanel

Log in to your dashboard and launch cPanel — this is where files, databases and email all live. New to it? See the cPanel for beginners guide.

04

Upload your site or install an app

Use File Manager or FTP to upload static files, or open Softaculous to one-click install WordPress, Joomla or Drupal.

05

Turn on SSL

From the SSL/TLS section of cPanel, issue a free certificate — it activates automatically once your domain resolves.

06

Check it's live

Visit your domain with https:// in front. If the padlock shows, you're done — the site is live and secured.

Common snags

If something doesn't work

Domain

Site not loading yet

DNS changes can take up to a few hours to propagate. If you just connected a domain, give it time before troubleshooting further.

SSL

Padlock not showing

SSL issuance runs after DNS resolves. Re-run the SSL step in cPanel once the domain is confirmed live.
